I'm not exactly sure what happened with the inking here. It looks quite a bit different. She's got some mad forearms muscles going though.
I do however know what happened to the backgrounds.
I didn't draw them because they were being evil.
Lo siento.

Indeed. Of course though, Val can't die.

Actually *puts on nerd glasses* Anyone can pick up Thor's hammer, as long as they are deemed worthy by Odin. Quite a few people have already done this, including Captain America and Eric Masterson, who was Thor for a time (later became Thunderstrike). An odd thing of note is that while humans can not pick it up unless deemed worthy, dang near any robot can, and has. And I know I am being picky, but couldn't you be more accurate? It is square, like this, and has an engraving on one side. *puts away nerd glasses* My head hurts all of a sudden

Um . . . I'm not sure there's anything in the comic that says this is MARVEL'S Hammer of Thor. You know, Thor is actually a real myth, right? Marvel didn't make him up and doesn't have dibs on the design.
It's actually closer to many of the pendants i've seen than the Marvel version. Sorry, but I'm an artist and am therefore allowed to take artistic license.

struck down with the "because I say so!"
We both got told. Myself twice.

Ah ah, it's not an "I said so." I just interpreted differently than expected. You're not wrong in imagining Thor's hammer looking like the Marvel version and I'm not wrong in imaging Thor's hammer in a different way.
Isn't the world great?

either way, Val looks wayyy ninja in that panel.
three reasons why:
1. Val is a mammal (so are ninjas) 2. Val fights all the time, both physically and metaphorically (So do ninja, but most of theirs are physical) 3. Val flips out but has yet to kill someone . . .
I just talked myself into an objection. I guess Val isn't ninja enough.

1. Val is a mammal (so are ninjas) That's not really accurate. Some ninjas are turtles. (those are what, reptiles?) 2. Val fights all the time, both physically and metaphorically (So do ninja, but most of theirs are physical) Also not true. The media just likes to focus more on the physical fights cause they sell better. Any ninja out there would be able to kick your metaphorical ass.

An excellent point on the ninja turtles. I will chip in with the fact that ninja is a base class, and any PC race would be able to take levels in it.
