Mmmmmyeah. So I'm pretty certain that Steven Moffat has reinfoced the fact that he's my hero in my brain. As if it wasn't obvious after The Empty Child and Blink and Silence in the Library and Vincent and the Pandorica Opens and the Big Bang.
Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol. He made me cry. AGAIN.
Ahem, anyway, this is for all discussions Whovian.

Ok, so we know that The Grinch lives outside of Whoville (how the grinch stole Christmas).
We know the grinch encountered the Cat in the Hat.
And we know that whoville is located on a sunflower (Horten hears a who).
Does this mean that the Cat in a Hat lives on a sunflower?
^^
In all seriousness though, Doctor Who rocks! Altough IMO Tom Baker will always be my fav Doctor. The guy they have at the start of the new Doctor Who series... I don't like him. Haven't seen the current doctor yet though.

You never forget your first Doctor.... Tom B was in most respects the perfect Doctor, but all good things must end. Davison bailed around the time the script writers finally figured out what to do with him, and right as his Doctor was getting interesting. I really-really-really liked Tennant, the Doctor between the one faerieknight doesn't like -- I'm assuming you meant leather-coat-wearing Eccleston? -- and the current-current Doctor, Matt Smith. I'm miffed that Tennant followed Davison's actor-to-actor advice and likewise bailed after three seasons. That's just not enough episodes! Seven seasons might be too long, granted, split the difference and stay for five, for crying out loud! Admittedly, I haven't seen any of the newest Doctor's episodes either...

I teared up, but never actually cried CAUSE I'M A MAN
but yeah, pretty close.
And coriolis: The newest episodes are pretty much amazing. They are quickly overcoming the Tennant fun as being my favorite Doctor Who episodes. Plus next season some episodes are gonna be set in America
Crap, can't find the trailer, seems the one I've been using has been taken down from youtube.

I still love David and it took me a while to warm up to Matt, but the writing in general was so amazing that it's hard not to love him and his stupid bowtie. And fez.
Also, I'm in love with Rory.

I am really pissed off, they broke the tradition of showing the Christmas special within 24hrs of when it airs in the UK. They are finally showing tomorrow.

That's odd. That showed it in America on Christmas Day. It was a pretty big deal. I wonder why they would change it for other places that were already getting it on Christmas day.

I must be a monster then because I don't even tear up & slightly puzzled by the hug that would have triggered a paradox.

Where did YOU watch the 50th Anniversary episode? At home? In a theater? 3D or not?
I watched it, on Nov 23rd, in a geek/gaming themed nightclub (which was packed to capacity) that opened early for the purpose.
Funny moment: Right at the moment when the three Doctors were poised to press the Big Red Button on The Moment, the venue's cable box decided it needed attention, and popped up a dialog window that read "Are you still there? Press red button to prevent shutdown." -- and the whole crowd starts screaming "PRESS THE RED BUTTON, PRESS THE RED BUTTON!"
