OOOH! I so called Kensei living through to the future! My God, I rule. Huh? What? I seem to have missed something. Edit: AHA! I missed watching the episode last night, d'oh! Stupid losing track of days. www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/episodes.shtml to the rescue! Edit again: Aha! I was right! When you said that Takezo survived into the modern era, I wondered if he was going to be Adam Monroe, this mysterious new power-guy. Interesting question, though...Bob said that "that headline could just as easily have been 'Tsunami Destroys East Coast'" implying that the person who caused it had massive weather control powers. Given the context, I was assuming that Adam was the one with the weather control powers. Does this mean that Takezo has more just regeneration? Is he another one like Peter, who can pick up new abilities as he goes along? Or is it just that all of them are actually unlimited in power, but each person has a certain gift that is easiest for that one so they express that gift (regeneration, flying, TK, etc) first and only grow into other powers later? Since Takezo is the oldest of them all by far (assuming he took the "slow path" from the 1600s to today instead of timejumping it at some point), he would have had time for his powers to grow more than the others.

True. But Bob also said that Adam was using people as his 'weapons'. Because Parkman's father was a devoted follower, he used his telepathy to control Nikki and perhaps in the past he had him mentally control an elemental as well. Or there could be an elemental who was aligned with him. We don't know Mrs. Petrelli's power yet do we? Or dead Mr. Petrelli's in that case.

I dont think Mrs. Petrelli has a power. Or if she does, it is so crappy that we are better off not knowing/caring about it.
I'm thinking that Kensei is the one who took the leap with Hiro's father now . . . I thought it was a mind controlled Peter Petrelli, but nope . . .

I'm going to second the theory that the tsunami thing would not have been done by adam, but by someone he was influencing.

Bob gave Nathan a newspaper clipping that said something about snow in California and said it could have easily have been a "Tsunami Destroys East Coast" headline.

You can't currently watch Heroes videos online. I wonder if this is due to the writer's strike? I also wonder how many episodes of my shows (mostly Heroes and The Unit) are currently in the can and how long the strike will last.

I hope the writers get what they need, Hollywood has a tendency to screw over whomever they can

I hope the writers get what they need, Hollywood has a tendency to screw over whomever they can Don't forget that the writers are PART of hollywood. My first instinct is to support the writers, being that they're the little guy compared to the producers, et al, but I don't know enough about the situation to really form an opinion. I do know it has something to do with royalties on dvds, etc. It's always possible that the writers are asking for unreasonable terms and not budging. I just hope it's over soon, because if I don't have tv to rot my mind, I'm gonna have to start thinking again, or something. (Listening to Newsies soundtrack...oh, delicious, musical, Christian-Bale--Hotness irony.)

I'm thinking that Kensei is the one who took the leap with Hiro's father now . . . I thought it was a mind controlled Peter Petrelli, but nope . . . I'm not so sure...she has used the first person plural ("we" / "us") a lot when talking about the previous power-folk generation (Linderman, Bob, Adam Monroe, etc). But you're right that she hasn't showed any signs of a power...unless it's the ability to inspire people to do heinous things that are against their better judgment.

Yeah, she is definatly a better manipulater than super powered being.
So lets take bets on what her power is . . . we may not get it correct but I say we put some kind of wager down for the person who gets the closest

I'm going to say she's the elemental, only because they haven't hinted at her power (that I could tell), so it really could be anything. However, I'm pretty sure she has a power because, aside from the "we/us", EVERYONE related to anyone in this show has a power (such beautiful and wonderful coincidence. And Genetics. Don't forget genetics) and there's no reason for it not to be supa-sweet, even if it's not mentioned. Actually, it's probably freaking awesome simply on the basis of having not been mentioned or demonstrated yet.
