Eh, not really steampunk. there are a few elements but only a few.
And unfortunately, it's been over a year I think since the last chapter went up. As far as I can tell from her forums, she's still working on the next chapter, even though she had originally planned for it to go up at the end of last year. She had a lot of work related reasons for not doing it. But I hope she continues because it's quite amazing. I'm absolutely in love with the art and the characters (Especially Jeremy. I just want to squeeze him. And he's hot in a kilt. But then who am I kidding, all guys get hotter when they're wearing kilts).

One thing I noticed after having to update Shockwave, I didn't understand a single word of what Jeremy's aunt and Dougal said.

I read manymany webcomics, and am grateful to have found www.thewebcomiclist.com to keep track of them. (Piperka sounds similar -- I hadn't heard of it 'til now.) This one shows which comics have updated when, and has an "unread comic" function that shows which have updated since you last checked. 'Tis quite awesome. (End public service announcement. ;D ) EDIT: And now I see the other thread that already mentioned it. Oh well; the word is spread!

I have the Webcomic List on my bookmarks to check the ones I read everyday.
Oh, and Sidekick Girl is no on there (along with Such Rubbish, who has an icon at the top)

1. Narbonic: Mad science at its funniest! 2. Girl Genius: More excellent mad science! 3. Thunderstruck: The best take on magic/vampires/etc I've seen in a long time. 4. Flipside: Fantasy. Fascinating characters - includes a female knight and a jester girl! 5. Erfworld: A geek gets summoned to a world resembling turn-based strategy games and has to command the legions of terror.
I use comic-nation.com to keep track of my comics (I have ~70 of them!).

Oh, I read erf-world. It's not a favorite of mine, since the update schedule is SO sporadic, but I always look at it when there'sa new one up.

Man... I tried reading Flipside once... it half struck me as preachy, the other half Narm-y, the other half... trying too hard. But I may just have different tastes from most people, I have some friends who really like it.
I think if I had to order the comics I read by priority (hard to do, as it more goes by which ones I remember to check on... and which ones update more often.)
1.)Gunnerkrigg Court 2.)Keychain of Creation 3.)Sidekick Girl (Lucky you guys. :3 Fun stuff.) 4.)Schlock Mercenery 5.)Special School 6.)Zebra Girl 7.)Magellan 8.)Gai-Gin 9.)A Magical Roommate 10.)Questionable Content 11.)Ad-Astra 12.)Goblins! Which would definitely rank higher if it would update more. >.< Which will hopefully stop being a problem come November 15, as apparently its creator quit his full-time job to concentrate on it. Once that happens, switch it's spot with Gai-Gin.
What didn't make the list are... Ps238, which really should have... but I hardly ever check up on it, because I always forget it. Dominic Deegan, which I have no idea why I read except maybe for the fact that it updates daily... El goonish Shive, for similar reasons as DD... Oots and Erfworld for similar reasons as ps238, except I do remember them... I just can't be bothered to keep track of their updates.
Also various other random stuff I check up on now and again that I keep even less track of than the aforementioned not-list-makers.
Also not including webcomics I liked, but died, Winter by Hot Soup, or to a lesser extent Elf Only Inn.
Not included (because I didn't think of them) are 8-bit theater... Kid Radd (which is ended, but still awesome.) um... and some other stuff that I don't care to mention at the moment. Because half of this stuff at LEAST, i only check like... once a month anyways.
Peace!
