Awesome. I liked it a lot. I had heard rumor that Edward Norton (who is very awesome) had some disagreements over the direction that the film was taking. He wanted more dialogue, more story. They wanted more crash boom action.
Well, we could have used more dialogue. But there was enough to tie the action scenes together and give the characters some life. We don't get a very good look at who Bruce is as a person, what his life was like before the accident, and some of the characters could have used a bit more background. However how Bruce feels about his predicament and his urgency and feelings of alienation come through very well.
CGI. Yeah, it's obvious. Doesn't bother me. It wasn't wretched, and the monsters have some expression. There was only one part that I thought that the people looked too animated. I liked the science technobabble.
Overall, good movie. It won't compare to Batman or Hellboy, but I'd definitely be willing to watch it again.
