Best movie all summer. Heck, all year. This movie, this movie here is thew new Golden Standard. The standard by which all comic book movies will be put up against.
I have one question though, how are they going to top this? Okay, two, who is going to be the villain in the next one?

A female villain, I hope. Catwoman perhaps. Since they've already shown that they can top the 'original' Joker (honestly, I was never a fan of Nicholson's Joker. So sue me), hopefully they won't be scared away from using other villains that the previous movies already tackled. Funny. Not really a fan of Michelle's Catwoman either. . .

I think Catwoman would be awesome, cuz (SPOILER!)
(Seriously, spoiler below....)
(Last chance...)
with Rachel dead, it opens Bruce up for a romantic entanglement with catwoman's secret identity. The superhero in love with the villain and neither of them knowing it is a pretty classic trope.
Bruce is also ripe for romantic angst. The only thing I can think of that I miss from the movie was right after she died, and he went on his criminal beating up rampage, we didn't get to see what should have been an emotional breakdown afterwards. She was his lifeline to a healthy, normal life, and without her, he's floundering. It didn't have to be a long scene, but we should have seen some tears.
A love interest in the next movie would be great. He's hesitant, reaching out, trying to find some affection. He meets a nice girl, agonizes over the possibilities of dating while being a vigilante, considers telling her his secret and BAM! It's the sexy villain he's had strange chemistry with since her introduction in the first act! Classic.

Sorta Spoiler Below . . . .. . . .
Was Scarecrow ever aprehended at the begining of the Movie ? I don't remember.
Also, with the way things are going in Gotham. Wouldn't you think that it could turn into the novel Batman: No Mans Land ?
Because that was really good and from the way the movie seemed to progress, it could be a logical turn of events.

I have to say I hate this movie. I haven't seen it yet but I work at a movie theatre, and since opening night I've been awash in the flow of bodies that flock to see it. Batman is making me hate my life.

Yay I finally saw it... I fogot how much I hated his stupid sounded "bat-voice". I liked Ledgers joker probably more than Nicholsons version as well. And hey, if they do make another one, they can always bring Schwarzenegger back to say "Lets kick some ICE!" Oh, I also hated the ending, where Gary Oldman spells it out in plain old english, just in case you hadn't caught the first two and a half hours.

a buddy of mine took a film class and he says that one of the golden rules is to assume that your audience didn't get "it" and be clear about your intentions

Obviously by now, some spoilers! . .. ... .... I'm a big fan of the comics, and I love how they portrayed most of the characters. I liked Nicholson's Joker, but Ledgers managed to make the Joker really crazy. And I was like "They killed twoface?!" at the end. I didn't expect this. But knowing the comics, he probably will get better again . They pretty much have to use some of the villians of teh old movies. Poison Ivy would be nice. Don't think they will use Catwoman because a) she never was a main/really evil villian,so she could just be a supporting role for someone else and b) I think a lot of people will think "Catwoman? Wasn't that this stupid movie with Halle Barry?". And I love Gordon! In my opinion, one of the few ways how they can top this is making No Mans Land the next movie, but that might be to much material, and it might need a lot more background stories then the movie has at the moment. But it would be the same atmosphere. ... Okay, shutting up now ^^
