Comic will be up late because Erika is falling asleep at the tablet and accidentally scribbling on people's faces. It will still be up Wednesday AM.

Yay, we're up and running! Sorry about the delay. First of all, UFC is porn. Seriously. Sweaty, barely dressed men down on the ground wrassling with each other. Guys, you can watch it for the sport all you want, but the ladies know what's really going on. The thing that really makes this comic special, though, is the cameos! Kay is an inside joke. Far too complicated to explain, but trust us, it's hilarious. She's an old character and would certainly find a UFC porn party to be a grand thing indeed. Mary, Franny and Amy are real friends of ours. Suffice to say that there is no way that 2d drawings can truly express their awesome. Of course, their awesome would be expressed more fully if they posted here more. Alice is from our very own Miya's comic, Such Rubbish. We like her comic. It's cool. Miya's cool. Hopefully this will be the first in a long line of random cameos between us. www.suchrubbish.com. I won't ramble on too much since she can come on into the thread and say it all herself. Finally, Jennie. You'll have to excuse me as I fangirl out for a bit. First of all, go read The Devil's Panties. Seriously. www.thedevilspanties.com. It's cute, it's witty, fun and at times gloriously irreverent. It's also not Satanic Porn. The art is fairly loose, with a gestural quality that is very difficult (for me, at least) to produce consiously. She does her inks with a real brush, for crying out loud. Also, it's CONSISTANT. Which means the archive is ginormous. Also, and this is the reason that I really geek out, Lore and I have had the chance to meet Jennie a couple of times. She was at our con a few years ago, and we saw her a Dragoncon last year. She is the nicest person that you could ever hope to meet. Imagine how cool it is to have a REAL artist, whose work you follow, go through your portfolio and compliment your style. Wow. Jennie's a young woman a lot like us who started out doing a comic with her day job, and has built herself a good bit of success, so that kind of inspiration deserves some kudos. Ok, I'm done. /fangirl.

As an aspiring Mixed Martial Artist, I have heard the FULL spectrum of jokes.
I really cant argue with the accusation because well, we are sweaty dudes rolling on the floor trying to choke out other sweaty dudes from behind. I have the same sentiments towards the female circuit in the EliteXC MMA association. Google "Gina Carano".

Jennie is indeed really nice. Also "Not Water" brand vodka needs to be the official drink of Sidekick Girl and company.
Also I will show this strip in particular to all my lansing-y friends who are like "oh yeah, I need to read that comic your friends draw, it sounds so cool" every time we are in the bar talking about comics. I will also show my mom. (Uh cause this is Franny, the short one. Your drawing is so flattering!)

There is nothing more sensual than a good concussion, I'll give you that. Broken noses, blood, and bruises are just icing on the cake.

So frankly I know next to nothing about televised ultimate fighting. I was under the impression it was something like professional wrestling without the costumes? Perhaps not?

So frankly I know next to nothing about televised ultimate fighting. I was under the impression it was something like professional wrestling without the costumes? Perhaps not? not quite, that is a big misconception though... It is professional fighting and yes, there have been cases of corruption in fighting, the Pride fighting circuit is one example whre it was found that there were HEAVY ties to the Yakuza. They lost all credibility and had to sell all their fighter contracts to the UFC circuit. It is like boxing, you have competitors from all around the world competing. Yada Yada . . . But there are rumors that bodog is staged and another one, i cant quite remember, but it is also staged. The UFC circuit and EliteXC circuit however, are not.

Even if it's staged, it's still a step up from wrestling. They are actually beating the tar out of each other, not just stopping their foot on the mat to pretend to hit each other.
And as for "There is nothing more sensual than a good concussion, I'll give you that. Broken noses, blood, and bruises are just icing on the cake." . . .
I'm of the personal opinion that in movies when someone's face is all bloodied up and someone leans in close to clean them up . . . it's just hot.
I don't have a blood fetish. At least I don't think so. ::shrug::

Well I was kidding, but I guess whatever turns your crank, Lore. You've obviously got a violence fetish- just look at your comic!
It doesn't take much to move up from Pro Wrestling, I'm mean its basically bottom of the barrel.
