Do you ever wind up in a strange social situation, and it kind of carries you along until it's over, and then you think "what the?"
This is that. But with bombs and superheros.
The saddest thing about this arch being over is that he's so pretty to draw!
Also, happy aniversary to my parents. They've been married for 31 years.

Maybe you can make their meetings a regular thing, that way you don't have to stop drawing him

I got the impression that we would definitely be seeing more of him. Maybe not immediately, but soon enough. Yay.

methinks Coldfire wants to open up an opportunity for a mutual business hatred where each party has an identifiable way of sneering at eachother in a civilized manner . . . or he wants to eventually ask her out

I hope Coldfire keeps showing up too, but let him continue as a henchman or a villian, it is more fun like this!

I think it's safe to say that Coldfire will be reappearing every once in awhile in one setting or another. And that we just COULDN'T take him out of henching. It would mean taking him out of that lovely battlesuit, and as much as I would like to take him out of that battlesuit and....
Right! Move along, nothing to see here...

I knew it! you're both living a fantasy involving Mexican-80s-guy-actor through Val!

Nonsense! Val is not nor has ever been a portal for our fantasies! They exist purely on their own. We don't need her.
Also, Coldfire is not based on any actor, 80s or otherwise.

I second that "Nonsense!" Isauro's concept has been in play since my seventh or eighth grade year of middle school. This was long before I knew about Eduardo or was old enough to appreciate his drool-factor. Eduardo Verastegui was only pointed out as him because of the movie casting thread. I had not previous considered this possibility nor connected Isauro and Eduardo to each other before. Thank you.
And as for all this "80s guy" nonsense, he was 6-16 during the 80s and not yet an actor. One would have to be a well-known actor (and one could possibly add "in American pop culture" to this equation) in the 80s to be considered an "80s guy". The man is only 34.
I think maybe you're just jealous.

I don't quite know what I'm jealous of, but heck, why not, I've been accused of worse things!
And thanks to the casting thread I now see Coldfire as this Eduardo character.

Im gonna call it though, Val and Coldfire are gonna hook up . . . or at the very least, there is going to be tension between them if they so happen to "get coffee" at the same time more often.
