They're back!

Holy crap, you have no idea the memories this brings back. It is quite possibility that the majority of people on this forum were too young for the New Kids phenomenon, and so you'll be confused to why I'm even bothering to post this. I myself was still fairly young (mid grade school, if I recall). Some of you might even been brought up on N*Sync and Backstreet boys and the Spice Girls and so you can at least understand how the phenomenon works.
New Kids were one of (if not THE) first "boy bands" that really hit it huge and I remember listening to all their tapes and fighting with my (then) best friend about who was the best guy of all. In the end, we were able to agree that it was Donnie, hands down. I've always loved a bad boy with a heart of gold.
Looking at this picture made me realize a few things.
Joey, the youngest of the group and the most popular at the time, still gets to be the youngest and now the hottest because all the other guys are, honestly, getting on a bit.
Donnie (who is still awesome to me), was the only one who actually moved on to have an actual successful career after the band split and has remained in the public eye (Sixth Sense, Saw II-IV, Band of Brothers, etc) and is actually one of my favorite actors, childhood-obsession aside. I knew I chose the right one!
Danny is still ugly. Uglier even. I never really thought about him other than sorta having the face of a monkey. I don't really even remember what he sounds like. Sorry Danny.
Jordan, of course, remains a pretty boy. I remember the rumors about him being gay but before I really truly understood what being gay actually was. I recall it being considered a 'bad' thing, but it certainly didn't stop any of the girls who fell over him from falling over him.
And then poor John. John always slipped from my mind as vaguely pointless. Being Jordan's younger brother, the rumor was always that their mother told Jordan to "let your little brother play with your and your friends!" He's cute but still looks vaguely forgettable.
Needless to say, news of them getting back together amused me greatly and made me sit back with a smile. I know they were corny. I KNOW. You don't have to tell me. But it was part of my childhood anyway, and I welcome them back with open arms.
. . . Okay, most of you are now thinking ". . . . okay, so what?" But at least my sister Chris will appreciate it. If I recall correctly, she had a big poster of Jordan over her bed.
Sorry for the tl;dr, but I couldn't not mention it.
