I read 80+ webcomics, and have many more that I'm promising myself to investigate but never do.
A representative selection:
Dead Winter (even though I usually hate zombipocalpse settings) Goblins Cleopatra In Spaaace! Flaky Pastry Riven Sol Kevin & Kell (my first webcomic!) Devil's Panties (met Jennie at Penguicon a few years ago -- the one with the Singing Tesla Coils?) Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic Questionable Content Evil, Inc. by Brad Guigar Freefall Girl Genius by Phil Foglio (seen him at several cons) Gunnerkrigg Court *anything* by Jay Naylor Piled Higher and Deeper Digger Legend of Bill

No list like this is complete without: xkcd Except that strangely enough, I don't read it regularly. Although I was *mightily* amused by *this* display technique they used...

I wasn't going to trot out my whole list, and still won't, but I will note matches between fauvem's list, and the unposted portion of my full reading list.
The Becoming Heart Shaped Skull (is it updating again?) OOTS Underling Wapsi Square Zebragirl -- I was reading early on, but fell off and haven't resumed.

I know this thread has been quiet for a while, but has anybody read "Honey and the Whirlwind"? The artistic style has really changed, but I like both how it started and how it looks now, and it's an interesting storyline. www.honeyandthewhirlwind.com/

No but I'll add it to my list to read. I'm currently considering a prune of my reading list. It's has grown since I last posted. I think its around 220 Webcomics at the moment.

Alas, I don't have time to read a bunch of webcomics. I do find time for:
Questionable Content Something Positive Shortpacked! PvP Weregeek Sidekick Girl (of course) xkcd Full Frontal Nerdity Rob and Elliot Gutters And a bunch of paper strips at the Houston Chronicle, so I can keep up with the Comics Curmudgeon
I notice I've abandoned a lot of the webcomics people here have mentioned, not because they're not good, but because I had to keep the webcomics reading down to 15 minutes a day (or, as I originally typed, 15 minuets a day, which would be longer).

I personally boycott keenspot because of the major artist purge of a couple years ago. Several strips I liked got unceremoniously punted, so I stopped reading anything Chris Crosby had anything to do with (pity. Some, like "Marry Me" were halfway interesting.)
Digger has ended. A suitable replacement for it on the list would be "The Whiteboard", an anthropomorphic (aka "furry") comic mostly about paintball.
I've also found some other trope-tweaking (or parodying) hero strips. League of Super Redundant Heroes. SuperFogeys. Atomic Laundromat. Hero Happy Hour. The Hero Business. And a straight-up story or two, like Flying Sparks.
Also added Red Moon Rising and the Becoming, mentioned by others. And I do see a lot of similarity between myself and @amazing Mr. K
