New Vigilante Theory

Alternate-Universe Declan. Declan Prime is still dead, but Declan of the hellish nightmare Val Prime has found herself in is still alive and for some reason crossed over to the main universe.

I have a theory that Superhero!Val took on a sidekick who died, forever poisoning her on the idea of having sidekicks around, which is why she's annoyed with Val Prime's presence as a mere sidekick. And Prince Charon in the comments for the recent page theorizes that alternate!Mack was alternate!Val's sidekick. So my new theory is that Sidekick!Mack died (perhaps like Marina Prime), making Superhero!Val disgusted with sidekicks in general and being the driving force in Declan's superhero career. Maybe what happened with Mack Prime and her parents happened to alternate!Declan. Should Mack Prime and Declan Of The Hellish Nightmare Universe meet, there will be many awkward tears.

Yep. New New Vigilante theory: It's Light!Mack. Who somehow for some reason crossed over into Primeverse.

Not necessarily. Dark!Val said that she had always been the dark, and that the two universes are not the same. Even though Mack still appears to have the same KIND of power (if not the same scale,) Val seems to have an additional powerset entirely than PrimeVal.
