Okay, I'm not sure if I should be ashamed of watching this or not, but somehow I got hooked on "Teen Titans" which ran for 5 seasons on Cartoon Network. They're still running reruns, but not making new episodes. I think what got me is that the storylines are very character-driven, and the "teens" are actually drawn and act like teenagers, unlike the comic-versions of "teenagers" in pornstar-like bodies.

I will never see 50 years old again and I find myself absolutely mesmerized by Clone Wars. Not the stories but the animation knocks me out. I watch the whole half hour as if it were a dance. I have little idea an hour later what the episode was about. I must never buy the DVDs I will be playing them back over and over to be impressed by some sequence. It is my guilty pleasure. Maybe someday my comic will move!

If you like this Clone Wars, you should check out the original by Genndy Tartakovsky
And there's nothing wrong with liking Teen Titans. I loved it, it's what introduced me to them.

I can honestly say that I'm not ashamed by the 4 shows I currently watch, but for years I was addicted to Boy Meets World and Smart Guy. I use to quickly turn off the tv and throw the remote when the door was being opened in fear of people learning I watched them.

Yeah, I watch Naruto.
Terrible voice acting, but I've read the manga so I enjoy seeing the fights animated.
Then again, many anime/manga fans look down upon Naruto, so that's embarrassing enough.

Kim Possible's big selling point for me was that Kim's cheerleader-fu versus the green chick with the glowing hands provides about the best dynamic action scenes that western animation offers. I've sometimes considered looking for Sex and City ever since the thought occurred to me "What if they had superpowers?"

The Sex in the City ladies DO have powers. The power to demand that they are capable, independent women of the future and yet still spend their entire lives moping over being single and searching endlessly for a man to make their lives worth living. The power of pathetic and depressing contradiction. That and being unlike any female I have ever personally met.

Heh, "unlike any female I have ever personally met." May I quote that at opportune moments? I work with a couple of huge fans of that show, and I couldn't even make it through one episode. I guess it's no surprise that the movies I like (Michelle Yeoh movies, for instance) TV shows I like, nooks I like, and yes comics I like all seem to feature women who kick *ss.

I sat through a marathon of it, granted... I was chemically blinded at the time.

Never be ashamed of Robot Chicken. Embrace it's clandestine affront to coolness.
Plus, you know, it won an Emmy

....I remember as a kid, loving Transformers, X-Men, Dino Riders, and Spider-Man. Oh, and Batman. Heh. I was a dork. Hell, I still am, and proud of it. I loved Beavis & Butt-Head and The Simpsons. Still do love all those shows. I feel like a kid watching them, but I can't bring myself to turn away. I don't really watch too much TV these days, though. I am admittedly intrigued with the new cartoons, like Teen Titans, Clone Wars, and Wolverine and the X-Men. I love me some cartoons, basically. Beavis & Butt-Head were so STUPID, I could feel my IQ dipping a few points just by watching them, but it made me laugh...and it pissed my parents off, which, as I recall, was the reason I did 90% of the crazy stuff I did as a teen.

You know, a friend of mine showed me a few episodes of "Sealab 2021" (I think it was called that) and I'm somewhat ashamed of how funny I thought it was. Sick, twisted and the product of a seriously warped mind. I wish I'd done that.
