I was wondering, me being an avid fan of comic books, what comic books do my fellow forumites read.
so post titles and why you enjoy them I guess

Lotsa Marvel . . .Civil War to be specific
Other than that, I like to read Gen13 from Wildstorm

I was a Marvel girl back in high school (heh. . . Marvel Girl). Mostly X-Men. But I haven't actively read comics in years. It's sad but at least I'm saving money.

Hehe, I buy TPB's
They are less frustrating to read and make good coffee table decorations

I used to like Gen13, until Talent Caldwell quit drawing it. I still read new X-men though, when they're not sold out.

I especially liked it when Adam Warren took over the comic, his insight brought about a whole level of different comedy to the group

One of the first Americans to introduce Manga to the American public (he is a self proclaimed original American anime freak, before it was popular).
He did the Dirty Pair series, the last half of the original Gen13 series, a stand alone marvel series called "LiveWires", and is currently doing a series for Dark Horse Comics called Empowered

I ordered a volume of Empowered at my local comic shop, I look forward to looking through it
I dabble in Marvel, DC, Image, and Darkhouse. Haven't really found anything of interest for myself in Top Cow aside from The Darkness, and even that hasn't pulled me in

I can't say I like any facet of manga, but I'll look him up anyways. (warren) I cant say he introduced "MAnga" per se, but more of the style off it . . . His first graphic novel "Fatal but not serious" had nothing in it but early 90's American comedy writting all in it
