With Thanksgiving a week away I was wondering what plans my fellow forumites may have for this special day.

Get up at 5:30am and go to work until 2pm. It's going to be a long day, and I'll be the only supervisor on. I don't mind, though (much, getting up that early is a PITA), because it's time and a half, and I volunteered to do my holiday duty.
Then I will come home, shower, possibly snooze a little bit, then help my mom with dinner and table setting. A few relatives come over, and I'll chat with them. My mom will put on a nice sweater and slacks, even though just about everyone else, including me, will be in jeans.
At about this point, I will eat until Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman arrive on the scene to investigate. (10xp to anyone who gets the reference.)
We'll sit at the table talking for awhile, then half the table will disappear to go hang out and the rest of us will pitch in for the first round of dishes. We'll all chat some more around the tv, and at 8pm Survivor gets turned on. Cuz Daddy and I watch Survivor, and that's all there is to that. The pie gets cut into about this time. Thanksgiving is one of the few occasions where second helpings on dessert is perfectly acceptable.
The company will leave shortly after with their take-home plates, and I will collapse into a turkey coma until I get up to work the afternoon shift on Black Friday.

playing video games with my cousins for most of the day, probabl;y Guitar Hero 3 and some Wii Sports, then eating dinner. Most likely going to video games, but we might just chill out in the down stairs family room and watch some cartoons

Wound up working til four, so that's a 9.5 hour day for me. Go holiday pay! Was very tired after, did indeed eat a lot. Watched a little tv and went to bed. Enjoyed the sleepings.
