im not seeing it in our inbox, so resend just to be sure It's been re-sent to "SidekickGirl" at "yahoo" (Was that the correct place? I don't recall ever seeing it specified in either contest announcement). I also sent it from my own yahoo account this time, so that yahoo would authenticate it internally.

The email is actually sidekickgirls (at) yahoo. sidekickgirls, plural.

Ah I see the problem here. The email is actually sidekickgirls (at) yahoo. sidekickgirls, plural. No, I consulted the Contact page of the webcomic for the addy, and typed it correctly in the email(s) I sent - I just double-checked my "Sent" queue - I only typo'd it here. Neither email bounced back to me, if my submission *still* hasn't arrived I need to know...

No, the second one came in just fine. which means you DID send it to sidekickgirlS, cuz the address is plural.

Hey, all. Just a note that the contest results will start running next week. We would have preferred to have it AFTER this arc is over, but the timing and number of strips didn't work out quite as expected, and the whole purpose of running the contest now was to not have comics to do during the weeks of Christmas and New Years. So there's gonna be a pause.
The non-winning entries will be posted in a thread of their own after the winners are posted on the main page and will probably be up by the end of January.

Hmmm, I'm guessing my character was just a tad too straight-up standard; didn't divorce it enough from its tabletop RPG origins, and I didn't properly tap into the vein of (sometimes macabre) absurdity that seems to be carrying the day. Oh well. Maybe should have instead written up a character from one of the "Omaha"-type campaigns (by which I mean more Mystery Men-like inadequate, the sort of hero who would end up based in a backwater trying to enter the "big leagues")

Wow I've been gone a long time! Looks like I came back just in time to miss another drawing contest.
