We will be attending Glass City Con IIJuly 9-10 in Perrysburg, OH This will be our first time at this convention, and our first trip out of state! We're a nation-wide webcomic now! How exciting. If you're anywhere in Southest Michigan or Northern Ohio, please think about coming out to see us. The convention is free! Everything on their website appears to be well put together, so we have high hopes for a fun weekend. We may be trying to organize a pub night on Saturday night, more details to come as we have them. Also, as usual, forum members get free quick sketches. www.glasscitycon.com/

Met you two at glass city con! Got pictures of Drake and Chris and couldn't wait to go home and read your comic! I'm in love with Sidekick girl can't wait to shove it in Sashie's face and make her read. Thought I would love Chris and Drake the most but found myself attached to Impact and Hazel =0... even though I still adore Chris hehe ^ ^

You just need to convince a convention down there that we are SO awesome, they have to invite us as guests. all we need is a table, a hotel and plane tickets.

hehe, one of these days I'm gonna get enough money and come up north for a con... Or ya'll are gonna come to Texas I'd like to point out that you just said "come up north" as though up was a direction. Because I say "I'm going up north" all the time and I've been told that saying such a thing as "going up north" or "going down south" is silly since up and down are not directions and that people in the south don't say "up" when they refer to north. And therefore, you win my heart.

Oh, I remember now. It was cuz here in Michigan, a lot of people vacation in the northern part of the state for camping or to cabins or whatnot. Hence the phrase "going up north." And that leads to going "Down South."
We also communicate where we live on our hands. Very conveinant to have a state map on your hand. Round these parts, "the thumb" is a geographical term.

We also describe distances in the time it takes to travel them (50 minutes to get to Ann Arbor) instead of the miles it takes to get there (43 miles to get to Ann Arbor). I'm told we're not the only state that does this, but most states go by milage, not time.

Here in Houston we generally go by time. But I have caught myself saying both.
For example, go down x street away from the highway for about 10 minutes then a left and a right at y and z and your at my folks house.
Since you just took all back roads, a 5 mile drive can take as long as a 30 mile drive from my house to my college if I gave you those directions
