Powerhouse comic book artist Michael Turner died June 27th at the age of 37 from complications related to bone cancer, which he has apparently had for eight years.
I find this sad.

But I guess not.

I as never really into Top Cow stuff, but gosh darn (I totally wanted to cuss but you guys won't let me) his art looks awesome. Some of his covers for Identity Crisis may be the best covers I have ever seen.

I wasn't terribly interested in any of the Top Cow/Aspen storylines, (I seem to favour the art before story) but I was and still am a big Turner fan having gone through a "Turner phase". I don't even know why I like his stuff so much. He has a very cool style, babe artist or not. He was supposed to be the coolest guy ever as well, from what I've read. This is depressing, the comic world (and me) will definately miss him.
