Poor Val. Lore might be able to add something more eloquent, but all I can think of is poor Val.

Edit: Just found the typo. Ignore the typo. Cuz the last time I took a comic down to fix a typo it screwed up the system and the comic didn't repost til it was fiddled with AGAIN at ten pm, and I think y'all would rather see comic with typo than no comic til tomorrow night.
Apologies.

Or maybe "boons" are slang for "boobs" and we just created a word! Wow, this must have been what the inventors of language felt like!

I am aware that "boon" is a word. In fact I used it myself just the other day. What I mean about creating a new word is creating a new slang word.
Other examples of words that already have meaning but I use as slang depending on the context:
Swayze (as in Patrick) : Something you love that is awesome but at the same time you know is kinda lame. i.e. "Man, video game movies are so swazye!"
Bowie (as in David): Something you love that is awesome but at the same time you know is still awesome. i.e. "Holy CRAP, Bioshock is totally bowie!" or "Oh my god, this movie is so not bowie. It's not even swayze. This movie blows."
I believe the word "swayze" may have another slang term use but this is how I use it. And yes, I actually do use these terms.
That is all.

Hahaha love the cheesy thumbs up in the second to last panel. It would be even better with poking sound effects.
After the last panel in last week's strip (didn't think the eyes conveyed the switch), I was a little worried, but I you nailed it on this one.
She looks so ridiculous in normal clothes. ^_^
