So it's a week late. So what?
It was fun. First, we were staying with our friend James and his family, and it's always lovely to spend time with him. Travel and prep went without a hitch, and the evening before the convention was finished with a delightful bottle of ruby port and a chocolate cake.
The con itself was quite small and pretty slow. We were anticipating low numbers, though maybe not quite as low as we actually got. It's only the second year the convention has happened. I think it was pretty successful for what it was.
And we met some readers! That was really cool. There were several folks that had heard of us before, and while no one came specifically to see us, we had a few people really eager to hear about the comic. One girl took a flyer on day one and came back day two to talk all about it.
And leto joined the forum! Welcome!
As an aside, if you want us to come to a convention near you, let us know. Whether or not we can come depends on:
1) Can we get the time off work, and otherwise fit it into our schedules? 2) Can we get there? 3) Can we afford to go? This is the big one, of course.
Ok, this is long and rambly enough.
End!

Heh. As much as we appreciate a good Irish pub, I'm pretty sure it would take an invitation from the convention itself, complete with travel and lodging expenses, to be able to make it. Conventions DO offer those things to some of their guests, but we're far too small and unknown for that.
