Give of your time: Volunteer, either through an organization or on your own. Work at a food bank. Give blood. Do some chores for a neighbor. Visit a nursing home. Pick up litter. Anything. Post a picture.
This is an activity/picture assignment.

My dear sweet granny is a pillar of stability. She's always been there for all the family and has lived in the same house for over 20 years. While crashing in her guest rooms, I saw the state of her bathtub seals. Time for action! She already had the painter's tape and a putty knife. I just had to bring the caulk and elbow grease. This was also Precarious Balancing practice. (Filling the tub is the only way to get a proper seam, and my project pants are full length denim.) The only injury was a scraped pinkie finger from replacing the fossilized caulk tube with a new one. Mission success! ![]() Grade: Excellent work! Sometimes it's the little things that really make a difference.

This is a picture of all the guys who volunteered in my area for Jeans 4 Genes day (I'm the guy lying on the ground with the wig). This is a picture of me (and Andrew Hansen from the Chasers!!!) when I volunteered to help raise money for Legacy Day. The only reason I have this picture is because of Mr. Hansen, who was awesome and donated a $20 before taking this picture with me.

...Is it just an Australian thing? I never realised. Huh. Well, Jeans 4 Genes Day is a day to raise money for research into genetic diseases (hence the "Genes" pun), birth defects and cancer. Also, if you can't tell, Legacy Day is a day honoring the veterans, and supporting them.
