Spread awareness: Post information in a public place. The information can be anything that offers help or services to people in need. Examples include the number to a suicide prevention or domestic violence helpline, the location of a shelter or food bank, free tutoring services, mental health services, animal rescues, etc. The posting can be putting up a flier, handing out information at an event, or even posting links on your facebook or a forum you frequent. Post a picture of yourself sharing the information, or a screenshot of your posting. Black out identifying information if you don’t want your name/username seen.
This is an activity/picture assignment.

I've always love bicycling. I got my first bike when I was 7 and spent every evening riding it. Today's kids love bikes too. However, the neighborhoods are not a safe as they once were (yes, I know I sound like a grandma.) Some kids are leaving their on the edge of the front lawn or even in the street itself. It's time for some awareness. I went on patrol with these flyers and a roll of Scotch Tape. Whenever I found a bike, I attached a flyer to the wheel spokes (this way the tape won't mess up the paint.) In one hour of walking I 'clamped' five different bikes all at different houses. Now, walking into yards and putting up flyers is illegal in most places. Probably, where I was too. However if one person is saved the heartache of getting a bike stolen or crushed by a car, I'll do the time - can't pay the fine though, no money Grade: A+ Awesome idea. I don't think you would be in too rough a spot legally. You're not putting anything in mailboxes, or entering fenced areas or buildings.

I decided to do a little something to help reduce the fear that comes from not understanding Ebola. This looked like a good place at my work to put up a flyer produced by the CDC. So when someone wants some refreshment, in this easy to notice location, I provided this handy information. Because knowing the simple facts helps to overcome fear.

Great idea! And super helpful to someone who doesn't have that information.

I'm a pretty young guy, and so social media is always a good way to reach out and connect to people. Inasmuch, I've been linking people to support websites and region-appropriate helplines, and also this: ...even though I did sorta start a wave of stupid copy/paste posts, everyone needs someone to tell them how awesome they are now and then
