I was thinking about those crazy anti-gun nuts today...you know those "no private citizen is mature enough to be trusted with a weapon of any kind! We must disarm everyone so that the world will be SAFE!"
What is WRONG with these people? Don't they SEE that prohibition doesn't work--it didn't for alcohol, or for drugs, and it won't for firearms--and that the only way to manage inherently risky items such as alcohol/drugs/firearms is through education and a culture of personal responsibility? Can't they look even slightly beyond their own panicky noses and give a little for the good of society? Honest to Pete!
